I’ve had a buzzing coming from centre speakers (dash area) at low frequency on my S4 Avant. Above a volume threshold (not that loud), gets very buzzy especially with anything with a bit of bass or low frequency voice ,
Took car in for service and showed this issue to the tech. Appears it’s a know issue . They replaced dashboard top grill (close to windscreen) with one that has a felt covering on underside . Buzz appears to gone ! Not sure if his will help you ... hope it does.
Strange outcome for you. I have the sub rattle and they got on to it right away. Coated the surround in felt or something. Pretty much resolved it.
Try another dealer

I've just had my car back with the final attempt at this. It went in 3 times while they added more sound damping material to the parcel shelf and pillars. This last time, the master tech specially purchased some extra thick material from an audio specialist, completely removed the parcel shelf and put it everywhere. It became a labour of love for him, but even after all of this it still rattles if I turn the subwoofer up. Under reasonably loud bassy music it's now acceptable, but if I really try hard I can still make it rattle. Conclusion: It's a design fault.
I've just booked mine in to get the speaker issue looked at. I'm getting it on certain songs whilst listening to planet rock at quite low volumes, less than 20% volume. Luckily i'm not far from the a dealer so I can get a lift to work so its not much of a faff.
They'll likely keep it for the day, maybe longer if anything needs replacing. If it's going to be more that a day make sure you request a courtesy car. They did say they need it for the day. Its Audi that are giving me a lift to work and picking me up when its done so i'm assuming if they need it for longer they'll give it me back and book me in for another appointment. Time will tell!
Any updates on this?

I'm booked in for 6th March. Will update when I get it back.
Since Allroad is mentioned. Allroad are only built in ingolstad. where is your a4 built ? ive pretty much owned audi cars since my audi 90 2.3e 20v quattro in 1997. all of them built in ingolstad or germany. im OCD when it comes to rattle/noises.
a proper built & served audi does not make noise/rattle in a4 «class» or higher (meaning audi design not vag design polished by audi).
Audi Sound System in my B9 2018 is not a high quality sound system but it plays my music without any rattle and with enough entusiasm to serve its needs ranging from electronica , heavy rock to piano solo artists in high quality recordings&formats. i can make it rattle if i move bass tone control past 3 oclock on an average recording.
Derboy for the creaky sunroof ya need vw dry lubricant on the seals this stops the creaking, my brothers golf gti clubsport did same till he used this

which was the case with mine) then they'll have to order a new one in which means they'll keep it overnight. shouldn't take more than 2 days but I'd ask for a courtesy car either way.

Please don't pay for courtesy car! the car should be given to you for free as Audi are the ones causing you inconvenience. They tried to do the exact same with me but I kicked up a fuss and they dropped the charge immediately.I have asked for a courtesy car (£15); with your one was the sub rattling too and after the new sub the rattling has stopped?

Surely though that's because there is no sub in the parcel shelf with the Avant's and Allroad. They have it mounted in the spare wheel well. It is probably a different sub as well within it's own enclosure..Thats what I mean. & the Allroad I had as courtesy did not have the same issue. It was a light year better
Pretty sure it was Inglostadt mate.. wouldn't have thought it would be elsewhere..
A proper built & served Audi does not make noise/rattle? The new A7 has the same issue as this as well.. A brand new Audi A4 had the same issue. Must not be many well built & served Audis around lol
Let us know how you get on - I have similar issues but also have a vibration from the section that houses the reading lights in the roof with certain songs. My S4 has the B&O system and it’s booked in for week after next to be looked at. Passenger-side front door speaker vibrates way too much, and the sub in the parcel shelf is getting horrendous now.
You're lucky you got to 4 weeks old, I had mine less than a week and it went back. It then took nearly 4 months to resolve the majority of the issues. Some still remain and I'm having to live them! Will be interested to know if that resolves it. I find anything beyond half the volume on B&O and it's pretty awful. Vibrations, sound quality etc it's just terrible. I question whether it was properly tested or maybe they had it done by someone who is deaf as anyone with half decent hearing would have thrown it out and not let it go into production.Gave my car in yesterday for the sub rattle in the parcel shelf, they told me its the rear top brake light causing the rattling as screws and bolts are loose (4 week old A4). Due to be fitted today, i dont see how this would cause rattling with the sub.. They said they have padded the sub and speakers too,, pick up sometime today if all goes well and i will check the car with technician before i pick up to make sure rattles have gone.

Ok so picked up my car from the dealers and the rattling has gone from the parcel shelf!! Even tested with different songs and the sub setting on max, no rattles. (Audi sound system)
