So my RS3 will celebrate its third birthday in March, any thought on warranty options? I know Audi will extend but dont know the cost, and if its worth doing...
So far touch wood the car has been pretty much perfect :)

Personally, I'd take out an extended warranty. Waste of money if you never need to use it. But if something big needs attention, then it's money well spent.

I'm in exactly the same position and my car is 3 years old next month.

You can get a quote here and there are various options for cover and excess ....

I'm undecided at the moment. My miles are very low though so that is influencing my decision probably not to bother.

I think extended warranty is probably a good idea. As the car gets older it is more likely something will go wrong. Even for niggly little problems. At £195 for a years cover, that's less than it costs for an oil change and about three fill ups at the pumps.

Worse case scenario is that nothing goes wrong and you'll have had pain free motoring.

It's not £195 though ... cheapest cover is around £300 for named components and with £250 excess.
You start going for all component cover and its £600 with zero excess.
I'm leaning towards keeping the £600 in the bank and use if needed.
It's like any insurance though, if you want peace of mind take it out.

Ah, fair enough. That is starting to look expensive. Best to put the £600 towards a deposit on the next model!

It had crossed my mind lol ... & dodge the 3rd year service & mot @ £400 :)

How is mine £910 with £100 excess? Car only has 21k miles.

When mine came through last October I think it was £600 with an excess of £250.
When I made the excess £100 the price was £850
