Bent over ready

Sounds very steep for what is basically an oil / filter / plug change....
The software update is free of charge as far as I know.
As for the visual inspection... That's so they can find something wrong that needs fixing :\

Look at EBC brakes. They released pads and disks for the S4. Have a look at their slotted disks and EBC Redstuff pads

Thanks but they are fronts only, it’s the rears that need changing!

Looking at some of the prices quoted in this thread and knowing what I was recently charged for an oil change, brings to mind the old saying:

**** Turpin at least had the decency to wear a mask when he was robbing people!

Do you have a part number for the discs because I can only find the pads?

Had a customer service email today so gladly filled it out. Just had a call from their service manager to talk through my points and apologise, as I said too little too late, the brakes are being done elsewhere and so are the spark plugs.
In future the servicing will also be done elsewhere by competent people!

Seems to me like Audi, and with all of the questionable decisions they seem to be making, are doing their best to try and alienate their customers...

At least they have responded which is more than I thought they would do. I fully expected no response where they'd gone off to find a sandpit.

I found my dealership responded very well to a poor a survey I returned about them. They now treat me very well but then I have not had any work I need to be charged for yet.

It's whether the car lasts through this year, I've already taken a liking to the new Evoque, kinda fancy an SUV but not sure what tickles the fancy really, not sure an SQ5 after an S4 is much of a difference.

I’m not even joking when I say have you test driven one of the new Kia Sportages’. They are really nice to drive. Had the previous version and miss it. They come loaded when you go for the “4” version which is their top spec and the higher powered engine. Test one, you’ll be surprised.

<ahem> talking SUV’s from an old man Been offered a fixed price service plan for £468 or £18 p/m over 18 months. Given my Q5 is due to go for 1st oil change service next week at a cost of £185. Anyone think this is worth it? Based on the above, this would mean the inspection costing £283.00 which does sound reasonable to me, being an old man in a SUV

Inspection does = oil + inspection

Inspection does = oil + inspection

Oil change and inspection are two separate service items/schedules but they’ll sometimes roll them into one for a slightly reduced price... For reference on my S4 the oil change was quoted £260 from them and the inspection £177, so £437 if they were done separately or something like £380 if done together.
