Hi.
Is there any TIP like badger5 v3 for LHD car?
Also is it possible to add one for RHD into LHD car?

I think there are some threads on here for that, apparently the orientation of the master cylinder etc make it awkward but feasible.

Bill's v3 will 'fit' a LHD car but its tight up against the brake master cylinder and brake lines... this will be the same for any 80mm TIP copied from Bill's designed

<tuffty/>

This "tight up against the brake master cylinder" is it going to be a problem?

pictures sent to me from lhd car customer.
I can make no assurances on fitment to lhd as I've never done it, but several have, with trimming at turbo end being what was done.

Did you get any updates from the customer on longevity ? Or on any sort of protection he installed ?

yeah, i found those in another thread.
I don't really trust the rubbing of a silicone hose against a metal one.

We'll see, maybe when I want more power and go hybrid turbo I'll have to get one and find a LHD solution :)

not specifically. If you want large bore TIP, the LHD brake pipe/master cylinder will be an issue.
Forge make a normal size silicon tip, but will not flow like an 80mm can.

Is it going to be a problem in long term?
This master cylinder. Will it snap/ broke or something?

I have had the V3 for about 2 years in a LHD car without any issues. I trimmed the turbo end a bit. The pipes are touching the tip but I'm not too concerned about that, have not checked for any wear tho.

Will try to revive this thread as I have an LHD my self (right here in the UK). What exactly means "trimmed the turbo"? How many mm are we talking about? I am asking because I am planning (or would like to) fit a badger5 tip

Here is my homemade TIP. 1 elbow 76 to 51mm and one 76-76mm. Pipe is 76mm too that needed to be bent a bit because its a really tight space down there.

that is tight!
is it the picture or the body is a little oval? Good job fitting it in there though

Yes, needed to be oval because of the master cylinder pipes and radiator hoses. I think flow must be the same, managed 224g/s.

Oh, if only someone who makes those inlet hoses could read this post and produce them in an oval shape, just saying my LHD is right here in the UK (Surrey) and would be happy to take it down for trial and error sessions. Oh well...

bring it down to us, we can try v3 trimming etc.. see in the flesh whats required

sounds good, will do. I am waiting on some parts to arrive and will come down there for sure. In case this changes anything regarding real estate my car is an Octavia AUM, I am going K04 hybrid pretty soon, just missing a few parts
