Which MMI cable?

Hey all

I have an A4 Avant 2012 plate and wondering if anyone could shed some light on the exact MMI cable I’ll need for my car in order to play music from my iPhone SE?

If anyone could shed some light would be greatly appreciated

Hi SCF91, Did you find the answer to your question? I have just bought a late 2012 A4 Avant with the AMI port in the glovebox so also searching for the same info.

Yellow coloured collar AMI cable worked fine for my wives SE in her Q3. Not a B8 but similar tech and might give you a steer.

I tried a yellow collar adapter with a lightning connector in my 2010 A4 and it didn't work. I've got MMI 3G High. I think i'm going to go for the blue cable next.

Hi i just bought one from EBay was bout six pounds just type Audi mmi lead hope that helps

Check your user manual it will say in there which code one you need, I ordered a genuine iPod and USB lead off eBay and it works a treat. Beware of cheap copies I’ve heard stories of them not working too well!

I have a 2010 A4 3G (low) and have bought a yellow collared lightning AMI cable (part number 4F0 051 510 AL 3115) which isn't recognised. Pav911 had the same issue and bought a white collared one from you which worked.
If you have one, how much to buy one?

In my 2010 A4 with MMI 3G high I got a blue collar (30 pin iPod connector) and white collar (lightning connector) cable working. I tried a yellow collar (lightning connector) cable but that didn't work.
