Hi Guys,
I’ve just taken delivery of my NEW A3 30 Tdi Sportback S-line S-tronic and realised that the rear parking sensors don’t supply a visual from the MMI unit.

I’ve seen from the forums that this can actually be achieved from a tweak by someone in the know.

This was a quote from one of the other audi-sport.net users so I know it can be achieved!

“My '65 plate SportBack TDI has rear sensors only and I've successfully activated the visual display via VCDS :)

I’m located in Aberdeenshire, Scotland so would appreciate some help on who to see for having the tweak done.....

Av a word with Northeast Audi Newmachar ( think it is Mark ) who does the vcd's , but if it is what @DJAlix says model then he knows

Useful to know the graphic parking aid is not available via VCDS. Until researching this I would have assumed it was available on all new cars with rear sensors even without modding. It was standard on a car I bought with rear sensors over ten years ago. Seems a strange omission.

I used the Carista beta app on my 2015 A3 also lacked the visualisation. Popped their blue tooth adapter in the port, downloaded their beta test app and switched the visualisation on via their customisation menu - hey presto I see the hazards on my display.

On the Carista website, they include the FaceLift A3 and that the Park Distance Visualisation is included in the current options for customisation.

Hope my first post helps ;)
