Hi all i want to fit a set of TTRS wheels to my B9 the offset is a bit higher and wheel width is 9j vs standard 8.5j. tyre size is identical.
ive put the details in will they fit (screenshot attached) can anyone see a reason why the extra 15.1mm inset would touch anything it shouldnt. not sure how much room there is to the strut. thanks.

I think that you'll find it hits the upper link, the tyre at least, if not the rim.

Also, the centre bore of the A3/TT platform wheels are smaller so you'll have to bore them out if you want to use them. :)

What ttrs wheels? Thought they were 20 inch? Or is it the basic ttrs 5 spoke ones?

here is a screenshot it says on the title 8j but ive verified by email they are 9j. shame they are a nice set of wheels , wanted a second set with winters on.

just found out A4B9 ccnter bore 66.5
TTRS center bore 57.1

so thanks again Daggerit i could have made a costly error. :)

Glad that I could help. :)

I actually run some A5 wheels on my S4 for my winter setup, they're 18" 8.5j ET29 so have 11mm more poke versus the standard 19" 8.5j ET40 wheels. No issues with clearance or rubbing or anything (and my car is lowered as well) so you should be fine if that's what you fancy doing.

Could you use a 10mm spacer as the standard wheels don’t come flush to the wheel arch.

hi as Daggerit pointed out to me its not so much a problem with the inset, a 10mm spacer would sort that. its the bore of the wheels i wanted to put on are smaller than the A4B9 standard bore. id have to get the wheels bored out, not worth the hassle and there might be an issue with making the center bore hole weaker. ill keep an eye out for some A5 wheels.
