Hi,
I'm new to this forum so please excuse me if this subject has been covered previously.
I understand that some Audi's come with front and rear Cigarette Lighter sockets as standard fitting and some even have an Accessory Socket fitted in the boot.
My 2015 A3 has only one Accessory Socket in the front centre console but I require (if possible) one in the boot at the rear...........
I also understand (read it somewhere) that in production Audi would only fit one wiring loom to all A3's with every connection already built into the wiring loom but would only connect those accessory points as and when specified by the model type and or the buyer's specification.
Is this correct and would I find the rear accessory power socket wiring already supplied in the main wiring loom at the rear ?
Thanks.

I. Looking at fitting rear vents with 12v socket. Did you ever find out if the connection is already in place and is it simply a case of plugging in your new 12v socket

My 2015 sportback has cigarete package for front and rear passengers but no 12V socket in the boot place.

I only have one and it’s in the front. It becomes an issue when the kids are looking to plug in all their gadgets. The front one usually has a satnav or phone plugged into it that’s why I’m looking at a retro fit as it’s just a lot smarter looking than cables running from the from the front to the back.

I’m the same as you, so today I took off the rear storage cup to see what was below the central console, I also invetigated the 12v option in the boot, and I can confirm that my 2015 car does not have the necessary cables just ready to plug in. Not sure I can be bothered running cables from the fuse box or if even my electrical skills are up to it.
