PFL MMI Start up screen

Hello, when do you guys get this RS3 start up screen on the PFL MMI screen. I never get it showing, is there a particular time it shows ? Ive turned the car off, locked it then ignition on and still no RS3 screen, it just goes to whatever screen it was on last. Help.

Leave the car for 20 mins (the MMI stays awake in the background for 15-20 mins after you lock it), then unlock it when stood right by the door and get straight in and start it.

If you unlock as you approach the MMI starts to boot up quietly in the background and you’ll often not get the splash screen when you get in and start it up.

Might also depend on if you have the tech pack or not. The smaller screen version maybe doesn’t do the splash screen.

The standard one definitely does do it, as I had it in my A3.

But as you said, all down to boot time... it’s rare you see it, or notice it then.
