Does this 450 quid road tax include electric vehicles also? That excess tax grab for vehicles over 40K is ridiculous and has no merit as a ROAD tax.
Electric cars are zero emission so don’t have to pay the £140 but if the car is over £40k they still have to pay the £310 premiumDoes this 450 quid road tax include electric vehicles also? That excess tax grab for vehicles over 40K is ridiculous and has no merit as a ROAD tax.
Your car was first registered before 1st April 2017 so falls under the old rules.Mine is £155 for 12 months.
Which just goes to prove how money grabbing our government is against motorists.Electric cars are zero emission so don’t have to pay the £140 but if the car is over £40k they still have to pay the £310 premium

It should be expected that they would reward people paying the price for electric vehicle ownership....and lets face it only the bargain basement cars are currently less than 40 grand.

It will continue to rise every year with the usual increase.

Mate go and configure the new Audi q3 Vorsprung variant...it starts at £43k............you could easliy push it over £50k
No doubt they'll be a Vorsprung variant of the NEW A3
I just checked and I’ve got 4mm left on the fronts and 5mm on the rears at just under 13k miles. My car has done 10,600 miles, and it's never been driven hard and the tyres at the front have around 3mm of tread left the rears have 4 mm, so l feel as if they need changed very soon
This has worried me for when I replace. Where did you order the AO1’s from? Hopefully the P-Zero’s blackcircles have are AO1’s as they seem to be the cheapest fitted price.I have just ordered a set of AO1's via a phone call, getting them fitted January 3rd will sell the RO1s on ebay for £60 each or something
We 140 pounders salute youSo us £450 S3 guys are subsidising you under £40k S3 guys it's fubar. .. Lol
If by people you mean Audi, then yes.People actually put P zero's on their cars?

What’s wrong with us 3 door owners like ???? Hahah.
I can’t fault these Michelin’s by the way !
That's because they perform better on the lighter 3 door mate ...lol
I dont like the square shoulders on the Michelins mate, the RO1s look exactly like the Michelins...and they dont look as Squat as the AO1s...l will post photos tomoz
I just wanted something to keep me in a straight line... well most of the time.
They are doing a damm good job to be fair in this weather so can’t wait to see how they perform in the summer.
Lol Speed Freak..........lol.......They are a pretty sticky tyre mate...not anymore than P zeros though....swings n roundabouts really, but Michelins reputation proceeds them so more expensive than the rest
I meant people like jassy. You always have the option to change them, and with P zero's I always would. If by people you mean Audi, then yes.

Just out of curiosity why do you say that? And what would you change them for?I meant people like jassy. You always have the option to change them, and with P zero's I always would.
So... .update my second set of tyres eventually got fitted tonight pzeros A0 these do have the uber rim protection but again they have a different tread pattern to the A01"s from the factory, so l just decided to keep them on the car as l can't be ***** anymore, it's not fitting centres fault it's the actual company also there are 16 different types of Pirelli P Zeros and l wasn't about to order every one on the list until l found the right type
Haha OK thanks Jassy, at least we know how to get the ones with the correct rim protection!So... .update my second set of tyres eventually got fitted tonight pzeros A0 these do have the uber rim protection but again they have a different tread pattern to the A01"s from the factory, so l just decided to keep them on the car as l can't be ***** anymore, it's not fitting centres fault it's the actual company also there are 16 different types of Pirelli P Zeros and l wasn't about to order every one on the list until l found the right type

She doesn't even get in the car mate, she's only on the insurance for emergency purposes only lol
Considering the track use which will have scrubbed off some tread that is truly amazing life you got from your tyres.
I bet you don't get anywhere near that mileage from the PS4S.
If I still have my car when it's time to change all 4 tyres I will probably go for Good Year Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3.
My tyre wear is even as it can be on the fronts ie no uneven wear. It's just the type of tyre that's all ideally l should change all 4 to Goodyear assys but my rear tyres have around 5mm left on them , it was serviced just a month ago and the vehicle check list marked them at 5-5 mm tread remaining,so l ain't going to fork out over £500 for 4 new tyres of a different brand
As for you Michelin tyre fans My Mrs car has ps4s tyres and at the front and they ain't wearing particularly well either, be lucky to 12k miles out them....
