How many miles to expect from P zeros

Does this 450 quid road tax include electric vehicles also? That excess tax grab for vehicles over 40K is ridiculous and has no merit as a ROAD tax.

Electric cars are zero emission so don’t have to pay the £140 but if the car is over £40k they still have to pay the £310 premium

Which just goes to prove how money grabbing our government is against motorists. :rage:
It should be expected that they would reward people paying the price for electric vehicle ownership....and lets face it only the bargain basement cars are currently less than 40 grand.

Mate go and configure the new Audi q3 Vorsprung variant...it starts at £43k............you could easliy push it over £50k

No doubt they'll be a Vorsprung variant of the NEW A3

For years they were giving £5k grants for electric car buyers and I think that stopped when the new rules came in. So they aren’t all bad. It was fine when all that was available was a Nissan Leaf now with all the premium brands churning out electric vehicles the government thought we shouldn’t be subsidising the rich for their premium EVs.
Electric cars aren’t zero emissions in my opinion. We still have fossil fuel power stations so all it’s done is move the emission somewhere else. If we all had nuclear and renewables it’s a different story but that’s a different debate for another day.

That’s very expensive, the next A3 is going to be silly money.

Been looking at the q3 and it’s really expensive for what it is. £43k for the vorsprung version is too rich for my blood. My last a6 with all the toys and a 3.0 v6 Quattro didn’t cost that much.

My car has done 10,600 miles, and it's never been driven hard and the tyres at the front have around 3mm of tread left the rears have 4 mm, so l feel as if they need changed very soon
I just checked and I’ve got 4mm left on the fronts and 5mm on the rears at just under 13k miles.

I have just ordered a set of AO1's via a phone call, getting them fitted January 3rd will sell the RO1s on ebay for £60 each or something
This has worried me for when I replace. Where did you order the AO1’s from? Hopefully the P-Zero’s blackcircles have are AO1’s as they seem to be the cheapest fitted price.

My first set were all equally worn at about 10k, OEM Bridgestone I think, I’ve put RT sportmax 2’s on which seem like a better tyre and they are all wearing equally as well but seem to be lasting a little longer, done 7k and on 5mm all round.

People actually put P zero's on their cars?

I did, I put 235/35/19 P zero A/S plus on my saloon and they suit the driving and weather conditions I require. That tyre is not available in the UK. They replaced the P Zero AO factory shod tyres which are the best factory shod tyres I have ever driven on, quiet, good grip and comfortable ride. Most factory shod tyres are not very good. Yes, Michelin high performance summer tyres are a very good tyre, but are expensive, noisy and a hard ride. Just my opinion.

Yeah I’d imagine it would get quite expensive having to change 16 sets of tyres like! Hahaha.

Considering the track use which will have scrubbed off some tread that is truly amazing life you got from your tyres.
I bet you don't get anywhere near that mileage from the PS4S.
If I still have my car when it's time to change all 4 tyres I will probably go for Good Year Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3.

“When” you still have you car @Ron240. C’mon you know you can do it

My tyre wear is even as it can be on the fronts ie no uneven wear. It's just the type of tyre that's all ideally l should change all 4 to Goodyear assys but my rear tyres have around 5mm left on them , it was serviced just a month ago and the vehicle check list marked them at 5-5 mm tread remaining,so l ain't going to fork out over £500 for 4 new tyres of a different brand

As for you Michelin tyre fans My Mrs car has ps4s tyres and at the front and they ain't wearing particularly well either, be lucky to 12k miles out them....

Yeah but she speeds mate
