19'' audi sport alloys kerbed...suggestions?

dear all i have kerbed my 19'' diamond cut alloys

to recut them is £120 from my local refurb company who was recommended by listers coventry.

i have a question
by re-cutting them will i lose the audi sport writing that is on the painted part of the alloy?

should i get them painted rather than recut?

Hello. I’ve also kerbed one of mine. I took it to a local refurb place to have a look at. He made it clear that I’d lose the Audi sport sticker. I’m not overly worried about that but the lease company would be. He said these wheels are some of the worse to repair... they have everything he said. Diamond cut, diamond polish, Matt finish, different shades of grey.... I won’t bother getting it fixed and see if the lease company know see it!
 
Knocked one of mine guy doing it next week he's laying in rs logo and lacquring it in after remachining . And spraying . Says will look like new

Hi thanks if you don’t mind me asking who’s doing? Where they based?

Is it being recut or smart repaired?
 
Also anyone selling one 19 inch v spoke alloy with Audi sport logo mint condition message me if it’s the right price!

depending on the extent of the dent then it can be buffed out with some grit paper.

i kerbed mine a few weeks ago and posted here about it - there were a couple of helpful previous posts on these forums and i was able to do the job myself. took about 20 mins.

its now not noticeable

To be avoided and also should be reported to Amazon for not making non-oem clear enough. Although pictures of their other wheels do suggest replica's...
 
I kerbed mine and had them fixed under the Audi Alloy Insurance. They came to my place of work and did it in the car park. I didn't lose my logos.

Hi Usman
I had mine refurbed for £70 at a great place near York. They were filed not cut so the transfer wasn’t affected. I’m well pleased with the result you can’t tell from new.

I picked out a set of 19” S5 replica’s (I think from memory) for my A4 b9. Very happy with them.

17” before. The car comes lowered with the “sport” suspension. 19” fits nicely and the rims are 8.5j with 255/35/19 tyres so slightly wider too

Pretty good for two sizes up
 
Repaired gr8 job . New logos .machined and sprayed took 5 days but worth the wait
