Random beep when starting engine

Not every time, but now and then when starting engine I get a loud beep similar to the one when fuel is low.
No error messages come up on dash apart from the usual passenger airbag on.
What could this be?
 
If i had to guess dirty contacts in the coolant bottle, this tells the car you have no coolant, so give them a scrape when the coolant is cold
 
A beep when the fuel is low ? That's a new one on me.
 
a few options come to mind but was it cold out when you started your whip?
ESP fault may occur randomly but no record in VCDS and nothing on DIS can produce a random beep
my bet it was below 5C. Would be funny if it fits given the op's SN
 
No wasn't cold mate.
So is there an actual fault with ESP then?
 
Okay so this is a recurring annoying issue for me.

I’m starting to think it may be ESP related because it happened the other day and for a split second I saw ESP fault on the DIS display.

I’ve fault scanned the car, no codes come up and no warning lights are on.
 
So my car would start but kept cutting out almost straight away. Jump start and it was fine.
Surely this can’t be battery related?

Anyone know how to install the projector headlights replacing the standard lights on a Audi A3 8p pre facelift
