I have searched high and low and there seems to be so much conflicting information about which flatbottom and air bag fits the a4 b8

so can anyone confirm the correct part numbers etc. pictures would be great

the airbag code for the original off shaped bag is 8K0880201A6PS by the looks of things.

so is any one able to give a definitive answer.

I too have searched for this answer....... to no avail. What shape airbag do you currently have?

I have this:

I would love to move to this:

Alas, not sure it is possible.

You can have your existing wheel modified to look like this:

However, I think it just looks wrong! (Just my opinion!)

I have the same as you. The second picture looks to me like a retrimmed tt/s3 wheel. I had in my s3 and looks.the same.

I'm.not a fan of the last either. It's looks upsetting haha.

I've had this fitted to my 58 plate A4.
Although the leather is slightly different with perferations in the side sections.

I had my new steering wheel supplied & fitted by Hazzydayz.

I've just dug out the invoice, but it doesn't list the part numbers.

So I'm not sure how to find the info you require.
Could I get the numbers for you via VCDS?

possibly, or if you could, just remove the airbag via the two screws and there will be stickers on it

I can't dismantle or remove anything.
But I have a VCDS cable, so I'm happy to use that if it's a way to help.
Although I don't know how I'd find part numbers/codes for bag & wheel.
So a little guidance would be useful.

Either way, I believe it's a wheel & bag compatible with the A4 up to 2012.

I have MMI 2G most buttons on the steering wheel function as expected except the "Navi" & if I press the volume roller it does NOT mute the volume as with my later Audi cars (2014).
