Hi just wondered if any one out there could help with some advice i have 2 A4 B5’s one avant and a saloon.
I have a headlight range control warning on the instrument cluster but the system is working fine i have proved this by swapping each headlight and the rheostat but the caution remains i think the fault is in the instrument cluster.
has any one out there seen this fault before?
i have looked on ebay and there is a cluster available but i understand they have to be coded i don’t have vagcom or vag tacho is there any one in the surrey area who can offer this service any help or advice is much appreciated.

Depends on which style of cluster and if it has IMMO built in. There are 3 different types. Google B5 cluster differences. My 97 B5 is just a straight swap cluster. And obviously change the coding to suit. Have you scanned headlight range control for faults via VCDS?
