Whilst at a breakers for a window/regulator.
For my 2009 A3 8p I bought Cruise control stalk, Module 8P0 953 549 F (I previously had a 1K0 953 549 AH), a multi function wheel and cowling.
I have fitted them today and coded the engine module, ignition left off for minutes afterwards. Also coded the steering wheel, next to last digit from a 1 to a 4.
However it does not work, measuring block on steering wheel shows the operation of each stalk function as it is pressed. However the engine measuring block does not show and feedback on any operation of the cruise control stalk.
I did not check the part number of the stalk as the guy at the Audi breakers said it was compatible.
Any ideas?
Installation? Coding? Hardware/compatibility?
Thanks in advance
:)

Did you connect the cruise control wire to the engine ecu?

A3 8V Facelift Limousine

Nope, i believe this wire is only missing on older pre facelift A3's, Mine is 2009.
I just swapped the module and added the indicator stalk as per the guide on here.
If the wire was missing would that show as the engine module not seeing the cruise control stalk as i am seeing?
Or could it be an incompatible cruise control stalk, as i don't know the part number or the stalk.
How can you check that the coding has actually been accepted by the engine module?

Does anyone know how to confirm that the "11463" enabling cruise control is active and saved in the engine module.
So i can confirm my issue is hardware and not coding.
