Climate control offers nothing for me. When I've had it I spent as much time adjusting it as I do manual aircon.
Quite, the only time it needs changing is when there a lot off fogging or icing on the front and side windows, then just set it to max. Absolutely no need to keep changing the settings and the worst thing you could do...You’re not using it right - set it to 19C and never touch it again.

Aren't you waiting for the new S3These prices don't bode well for the new platform A3 when that is launched next year.
Audi may end up alienating a lot of loyal customers by pushing the prices up 'too far' and I am still to be convinced on the interior styling, based on the direction they appear to be taking with this.
£30k for a decent spec A1 is way too much IMO.

Given that the new base A1 is more expensive that my current (base) A3 I think I will probably move on when I change next year.
I'll Turbo Blue ye lol its nowhere near as bold as Voodoo blue and besides Turbo Blue is a metallic paint View attachment 168314
Lease is looking more and more appealing to me, or...buy a used car cashMakes you think just how much more expensive the next A3 will be? I'm guessing lots more.
We are getting forced into lease or PCP deals, as to `buy` new is just becoming far too expensive.

I fancy buying Snake's RS3 off him in a couple yearsUsed is one of my considerations at the moment, would love to go RS6 but the cost for a 2 year old one it still crazy! Could be tempted by an RS3, S6, S5 SB or S4 maybe.
Surely you can’t leave your temperature on a .5 would do my nut in!It's been a few years so I can't remember how good manual aircon was.
I don't mind Cc though. I set it to 20 as a default generally and up it to a max of 21.5 and down to 19c and that's enough for me.
Plus it looks quite smart with the cc

So Audi are now doing full flat paints ie in green and blue used to be just red, white, black, yellow , Turbo blue flat or black makes no odds really i ain't into conjecture mate this threads full of second guessing Audi and l know for a fact l won't be buying another A3/S3, totally happy with my current car and I'll be keeping it for another 2 years easily as it cost me a lot of moneylol.....A beauty there is no doubt...are you sure TB is metallic??.....Audi say solid...and Audi are always reet

Nice one mateha ha .... I will put you top of the list
If the next S3 is pushing £40k or well into £40's with just basic extras then I will definitely look elsewhere as that is too much for this level of car.
But the + or - 0.5 can make the world of difference!Surely you can’t leave your temperature on a .5 would do my nut in!
I find 20c isn't quite warm enough at the moment, 21c is just right. Girlfriend hates the fact it’s not on an even number. But the + or - 0.5 can make the world of difference!
Sometimes I even had the left and right side of the car in different .5s

haha, brillaint, I have to say the .5 doesn't bother me, but I do like both sides to be the same, and do as such when the wife isn't in the carBut the + or - 0.5 can make the world of difference!

For those interested, the new A1 will come with the below engines, transmissions and drivetrain (no sign of S1 yet obviously). As we all know Configurator currently only showing 1.0 116ps:
They do talk about two special editions, sline style and sline contrast
They did do a 180bhp in the old model for a short time I think, possibly before the S1 was launched. Don’t know how it’d handle 200bhp through the front wheels. I had a 150bhp one the other day as a courtesy car and that seems to spin it’s wheels a little in the wet and I wasn’t accelerating particularly harshly.Maybe the new S1 is actually getting less power? Seams strange to have a none S1 with 200bhp, unless the new S1 is going to be 250 BHP+?
Must’ve been the tyres then either that or I’ve got too used to what the S3 is likeI think 200 bhp through the front wheels is fine, if driven to match conditions.
Had a Scirocco R previously with 260 bhp through the fronts and you just had to be sensible in the wet - but it would grip like a good un in the dry and felt like a missile being so light
Floor it in damp or wet conditions though and yes the tyres will spin.

OuchOh ... I omitted to mention that the Scirocco R schreaded front tyres every 6,000 miles lol
So that is the downside of lots of BHP through the front wheels

They are going on the A3 saloon BE. First column Sportback, second column Saloon, third column Convertible. So, only just installed the app as the site doesn’t seem to want to work but....possible new BE alloys?
