Hi

I'm sure I'm due to an interim service but Audi think major. Car is 2014 2.0 TDI 184

Previous owner did alot of miles - 112,000 in four years thus was on flexible schedule. I'll prob do 8,000 a year and need to switch to fixed.

Service record shows:
mar 2015 - 18000 - inspection with oil (flex)
aug 2015 - 35000 - inspection with oil (flex)
mar 2016 - 53000 - inspection with oil (flex)
sep 2016 - 70000 - inspection with oil (flex)
mar 2017 - 87000 - inspection with oil
sep 2017 - 106000 - inspection with oil (flex)

I've read that inspection service = major service, due every 19,000 or two years, from the above it appears its had a major service every 6 months from new. To me that means at 10,000 miles and a year since the last one, it's only due an interim. Who's right?

Thanks

Phone another dealership up and ask them, see if they say the same.

But tbh I think they are all useless! I called 4 different ones this week for my 1st A5 service. One said I need 20w grade oil, the next said I need 30w grade oil, the next said I can use either and the last one said I'm not due any service for another 12 months!!!!

If you are not tied to a warranty I'd try an Audi specialist.

My car was in for a service last week and I got the call saying it needed a major not a minor so I explained when the sparks were last changed and they agreed it was only a minor required.

I booked in with a specialist - they’re £145 plus £7 to register service on Audi’s online service history thing. Only £18 less than a dealer :/
