That’s a link to the exploded drawing of the B8 rear suspension, shocks and ARB. It lists the part numbers but you’ll need to know the specifics of your car to get the exact ones. You can find the details on the front page of your service book, should be a sticker in it with lots of number codes, that’ll give you the info you need

Hope this helps! And I apologise if I’m stating the obvious about the specifics!

Cheers,
I got as far as finding the diagrams but Was unsure which I need. I didn’t realise the codes on the service book should give the shock absorbers as well . Now to work out which

You won’t need all of the numbers on the bottom 2 thirds of the sticker, they’re just like option codes for the things like accessories etc. It’s just the slightly larger digits that have the engine code etc on. I’m sure there’s a help page where you can type them all in and it explains them all, a quick google should show you!

Interested about this one actually as I’m about to change my control arms and I have ADS so I suppose I’ll need to disconnect the struts, anyone done that before?

My mate rang up for a price, £295 each . Hoping I’ll be ok just changing the one. Also they’re on back order

It might be just me but I didn’t think that price was too awful! Audi charge you £200 just for a suspension control arm!

Dampers should be changed as axle pairs, as should suspension springs. It's a matter of safety, not an area to be scrimped on.

If you raise a parts request though this site, you'll probably be able to get them cheaper than the price you've been quoted.
