Post Pics Of Your A4/S4 B9 In Here

The Carlton estate was one of the best cars I’ve owned. We had 3 young children and a retriever and it took our little family and the associated paraphernalia all over the place. It was the first car I’d owned that had a 5 speed gearbox, rev counter, sunroof and a decent radio/cassette player built into the dash. We thought we’d really arrived!
I brought a carlton once from this bloke who thought he was ripping me off at £170 as the oil pressure light came on after the car had been on a run. This didn't show on a test drive and he obviously knew about it but what he didn't realise was that it only needed a oil and filter change to sort it out. Trouble was somebody kept trying to steal it, twice they had a go but was unsuccessful as the steering locks were pretty robust in those days. In the end I got the insurance company to right it off and got more from them than I paid for it....

Thank you the comments.
Bars are Thule Wingbar Black, I did previously use the WingBar Edge but they didn't allow enough room for the roof box and cycle carrier ( hence why they are now in the classified section)
Great website to see what but you need is..

Cole carrier is Thule 598 Provide which very easy to use and much better then the 591's I also have due to the 598 having angled and ratcheting wheel straps and ratcheting frame clamp.
Roof box is an VW item.

Can't edit my previous post so here's one that should make a bit more sense:

My dad had a blue E reg Carlton 2.o GL saloon and he loved it. I was about 14 when he got it. He craved a 2.6 Diplomat one! The estates were better looking I always thought

Few pics of the S4 today...

My white A3 a while back was really bad for having a different colour bumper... Didn’t notice it on my S4 though thankfully.

Nothing like a freshly detailed car, always satisfying when done yourself.

Hi All,

As you probably know by now I cancelled my order due to WLTP and waiting around, and purchased a used model.

I’m still out the country but I got a family member to pick the car up today.

Here some quick pictures (which I didn’t take obviously ha)

Glad you got sorted, it looks great. Not sure about trusting someone to pick up a new car on my behalf though! :screamcat:

I was reading somewhere the other day that the A4 looks all wrong in red. I don’t agree, I think it looks great, especially with the black pack. I wanted red when I got mine but there wasn’t a stock vehicle with my spec in red so I settled for floret. But now I come to think about it, I’ve never seen a red A4 out on the road and yours is only the second I’ve seen on this forum.

Red wasn’t my first choice of colour, Floret of would been.

However over the years I remember seeing A4 B8’s and A3 8P’s in red with black grilles and liked the look, so I thought why not

It sounds like a car swop could be proposed!

I thought of a swop, but he’s diesel, I’m petrol and he’s saloon while I’m Avant. So I’ll stick with the floret.

My taste for red comes from the misano 8V sportback I had before the A4. Again it wasn’t my choice but it was the only stock car in the spec I wanted and I grew to really love the colour

Just couldn’t resist taking a shot of her in the dark. Love those blistered wheel arches.

My First Audi! and LOVING IT! So much to learn on the Virtual Cockpit and MMI. I'm a bit confused about Audi Connect tho. Do I need to pay for the online services like traffic, Google Maps, etc. that use data? it says online when I'm using the sat nav.
