Just maxed my S5 cab out on the A5 in Germany, it was flat out at 167 mph or as displayed 267 kph No for long as the concentration level at that speed is insane and it’s extremely scary. Would I do it again? I don’t think so

I have done 140+ out there a few times in hire cars but have never had my S4 out there. It is surprisingly hard work and I didn’t do it for long stretches and never tried getting anywhere near that at night.
I assume your S5 is de-restricted, I thought they restricted them to 14o.

My S5 is not deristricted, standard spec no mods at all. ( except a armrest tray ) full of stuff for a 2 week holiday as well. I’ve done that speed , won’t do it again. Funny though driving at 120 is ok and quite relaxed, above that it’s to much concentration
I will have to take the S4 one day I thought they were restricted, that is impressive fully loaded.
I totally agree that at 120 its fine, 140 and above it gets very hard work. I think trying to preempt other people changing lanes was the biggest strain. Trying to work out how fast cars are coming up behind you at night isn’t that easy either, I always take it easy on their roads at night but you still get cars coming up at 140+ and have to be incredibly cautious changing lanes.
I hired an M4 last time I was out there and accelerated as I changed lane on a very slightly damp road and could feel the rear and twitching, as was mine at that point, very scary at over 100! It certainly made me a lot more cautious.

Moot point maybe but 267kmh accurately equates to 165.906mph.

Speedo will over read vs say GPS speed imho. Allegedly though the cars will go past the limiter if not in top as you go past 155.
