You started driving when you were 13/14? Profile says you’re 17 :wtf:

Wow. Beautiful. Hard work to keep black clean but those results are worth the graft. Lovely job.
Cheers Broonie ... it's hard keeping black looking half decent, comes up nice though lol. Ara looks minted pal, you enjoying it?

The 3-door S3 looks great :icon thumright:
(in Poland it is not possible to order as the convertible version) :sorrow:

Thanks buddy, 3 door not available in UK anymore unfortunately. The 5 door and saloon are stunning too though.

Thanks. Really enjoying it. Has a great crystal sparkle in the sunshine. Got a couple of stone chips on bonnet and grill that are very annoying. I need to get some more pics taken, especially as recently polished the old cannons! Yours is a very fine example.

The S3 together with my Boss' 1976 911 S and my co-worker's 1985 E30. New meets old and older :hi:

Cars just getting bigger... I've read somewhere that the new BMW X3 is bigger than the first X5, think that pretty much sums up the trend.

An E30 was what I learned to drive in / was my first car. Loved it and have a soft spot for them.

I follow you. I'm happy with my S3 but the smell and the feeling of such an old car is just something you can't buy today.

This E30 in particular is just beautiful. No it's not in mint condition but it is what it is, a daily driver with a lot of smiles per mile. When my friend bought it the previous owner had made several body modifications but he reversed a lot of them back to original and I think it looks great now. It's pretty much just lovered, m tech spoiler and with a modded exhaust for some pops and bangs.

As a young one I don't really have much appreciation for the older cars but that E30 does look good! I still think the E46 looks really good for its age. The 911 doesn't do anything for me, but blimey it looks tiney!

Mine was a white 323i, registration NIW 3238. All original at the time but added OEM alloy wheels as it had steals on it. Had all the chrome bits and a Becker "Pull-Out" radio! I would love to find one today for a project.

Find one now then, they're only getting more and more expensive!

This one is a 320i but with the straight six engine. Unfortunately the previous owner got rid of the original radio :bye:

If I was not looking for a second car and a decent caddy van for the business I would consider it.

Got my S3 Last Friday, but I've been either too busy to take photos, or it's been raining (it is Scotland after all!)

Loving the car so far, I actually went into the Audi Garage a few months ago to buy a new 3 door S3, only to be told they had stopped manufacturing them.

Couldn't understand why, given I think it's by far the most attractive shape.

Finally decided just to go ahead and get an 18 month old S3, so here it is.

Love the way the 19" Alloys fill the arches, and really enjoying driving the car!

very nice mate, looks a very tidy example you have picked up there. Agree the 3 door does look good on SB's, so is a shame they have stopped them, but seems that is the way it is going due to lack of sales across VAG

The guy I spoke to had said that whilst that was the official line, he was told it was more about cost efficiency, reducing from 3 models to 2, reduced tooling and manufacturing costs.

The reduced costs argument makes more sense, they were never going to remove the SB or Saloon from their line. Renault did something similar with the Clio, although the official line for them was apparently something about 4 door cars being easier to gain the maximum Ncap ratings.

Too..Cut a long 3 door story short....It is what it is mate,3 door hot hatches where.. stopped by most car makers long before Audi stopped it,Ford,Honda etc but only the Ford Fiesta and l the think BMW M1401 still have 3 door variants

You missed out the Golf, when I was looking to get out of my Tiguan the options I was looking at were 3 door S3, BMW 240 and Golf R, by the time I made my decision, they stopped making the 3 Door.

I've mostly owned coupe type cars throughout my car life, prior to the Tiguan (got it because I though it would be more convenient for golf stuff, nice car but boring....)had the last build of the 3 door BMW 325, prior to that CLK AMG etc.............

If a car's got more than 2 doors, it just doesn't look right to me..........
