Hopefully picking up a 2012 A4 3lt tdi allroad on Monday and need to look at taking out a warranty, I was offered a 3yr warranty for around £600 from the garage i'm getting it from (Bristol Street Motors) but reading up on the terms and conditions it's not worth the paper it's written on plus they insist that you do all servicing via one of their garages but they are all 50+ miles away.

Looked at a few online quotes but they seem to vary greatly in price and what is covered, looked at warranty wise, click4warranty and motoreasy, can anyone recommend any of the ones I've looked at or an alternative?

Cheers

Put that £300 somewhere safe and add money to it each month.
Warranties have so many clauses and items that they won't cover, they are usually useless. You can't even have the car serviced by a non VAT registered garage regardless of the quality of the items used or the skills of the mechanic.
