Evening everyone, I know it’s short notice, but I have been offered a meet at Stoke Audi part of the swansway garage group. This meet will consist of tour of the workshop, where a car will be up on the ramp and a master tech be on hand to answer any questions you have.

Audi sport vehicles will be available for accompanied test drives. ( vehicles available will be confirmed Monday/Tuesday) drivers must have clean driving licence and be over 25 years old (I will ask about getting vehicles for those 21-25 ) driving licence must be with you on the day and a note of you national insurance number

Refreshments will provided throughout the day.
I am limited to 30 places for this meet, so if you wish to attend please add your name on the list below.

Drivers to be 25 years and clean driving licence for accompanied drives.

Tour of workshop with Mastertech on hand to answer any questions. The dealership will have a car in the Ramp fir you all to look at.

Refreshments be available throughout your visit.

Don’t forget to bring your driving licence and a note of your national insurance number please.

Time to get your place booked. This meeting is only 6 days away.

Please add 45bvtc and RS3copilot, Sandra.

Please check and confirm that a pair of 70+ (RS3/TT/A1 185bhp owner/driver(s)) are allowed to exercise Stoke Audi's machinery.... :racer:

Some OAP's still have a lot-of-lead in their boots... :yahoo:

And both with 'CLEAN' driving license though I still don't know how she manages that.

Confirmed details of this meet are as follows.
Postcode for your satnav ST4 4DD

The meet starts at 11am. Please can you arrive just before this. On arrival at the dealership please ask for Martin Scott/Chris Benson who are your points of contact and tell them you from Audi-sport.net.

You will be given a tour of the workshop and there will be a car on the ramps. If you would like to have a free health check (Audi cars only) and see your car on the ramp the mastertech will be happy to do this for you and answer any question you may have. (Think this is a fantastic bonus, in all the dealerships I have organised meetings at this has never been done)

There will be the following cars for accompanied test drives for drivers 25 years and over with clean driving licence

S5 Sportback

For those members 21-25 years old cars will be available for you to drive and be what’s available on the day.

There will be refreshments available throughout your visit.

Now the important part. Please drive these cars carefully and respectfully and safely within the speed limits of the roads you are on. This is a special privilege to Audi sports members being allowed to take part in this experience.

Please bring your driving licence and a note of your national insurance number with you.

I will put up a link to garage reviews for this dealership after you have been so that you can leave a review of your day and also a feedback thread for pics etc.

It was good; very open and very friendly; free to roam and drive whatever; choose own route, even. I already had mine planned with the A500 and A519 providing everything I needed to explore vehicle characteristics. Having an ex-policeman riding shotgun (in the back of an SQ5 and then an RS5) might have put 'some' off but no worries, both (David and Jeff) were well behaved.

Excellent service department staff, no worries, well worth the visit if only to discuss Audi 'silly/easily rectified/but Audi GmbH head-in-sand ignored' issues. Note: I was even given several sets of 3M self-adhesive anti-brake-squeal shims and told "they work" (I know) but "we can't fit 'em."

Good news is that Stoke Audi 'service' staff thought it good enough to want to do it again and on a regular basis, so maybe a regular meet is forthcoming... :racer:

Good day as Autobrite were there so we bought a few items. Not a fan of Stoke Audi ever since they damaged a footwell light in my old S3 sportback and then denied doing it and lied about it. :angry:

So if not a fan of stoke Audi, why did you go? I gather they didn’t help change your mind on them yesterday? Seems a bit two faced tbh

I went to buy some parts from AD ok and I know some of the guys who work there so I went to hello but I WOULD NOT have work done on my car there.
 
@Sandra I am gutted I missed this!!! Would have made the few hour trip up, typical.

Any more centre visits in planning? :(
