hi I am wanting too get my google maps working on my Audi looking at a preloaded SIM card does anyone know now much data they use ?

I use a 3 data sim. From memory, I think the latest one is a 24GB preloaded sim.
I'll check if there is a how much data used section but in my case I have my phone connected to it in the car and so it uses the "wifi" for Spotify and whatever else + if there are others in the car, they'll use it too
Are you using it just for maps?

I have 500 mb a month on my car sim i hardley use google earth but when i do 500mb seems fine a month..
I bought one to test how it was on pay as you go, 100mb was used in around 3 hours of driving. This was just google maps not Audi connect.
Google maps is worth it along with the traffic updates, I will be getting a contract sim for it.

Do you literally just have a contract sim solely for the car? How much is that?!
It would've been great if Audi allowed you to go the other way and tether off a mobile.
I got mine from EE, best 4G coverage overall, £7.50 a month and I just transfer my data over! It uses a lot of data if you use google maps. I also updated my MMI through online option which was 1.8GB for maps, in 14 days it’s used 5GB.
