OBDeleven

Did the OBDEleven tweak over the weekend and finally got the chance to try it today on my 50-mile plus commute to work (mixture of A-roads, motorway and city centre/town driving) – and I must say that I've noticed an improvement to the throttle response; much smoother and linear.

I had the pedal box (first-generation, not the current version) previously in my Golf R and that worked a real treat in the VW. With the 'Direct, controlled over threshold value' change, I wouldn't go as far as saying you don't need a pedal box in the S3 FL, but the tweak certainly helps.

Some owners have said they haven't noticed a difference (in the VW Golf R forum anyway) in performance, but it really depends on your driving style and how much you use your motor (in my case, I have two separate 50 mile or so journeys per day) – so results wise, YMMV! For me, this is the best OBD11 tweak on my s3 so far!

I also did this mod on my S3 via Carista. For me it has transformed the response of my car. Sports mode in auto feels as responsive as in dynamic or individual. I have much more confidence on exiting junctions and entering into roundabouts. There is very little lag and no sudden surges of acceleration 1st or 2nd.

The car should have been like this from day one. Well worth trying.

Glad to hear you could use this mod. It's really makes a difference and you feel more in control of the car because it doesn't suddenly accelerate crazy just because you have kept the pedal at 50% for a second or two.

This along with Haldex engagement and torque vectoring are the best mod for 8V.. Sorry, been a while so don’t have the codes off head, but look them up...

It you just go to the coding section and the one mentioned in post...steering assistance or similar it will be in there. No need for app

Do you have the Pro version of the OBDeleven app?

This came through the post today.View attachment 159949
Time to play:racer:
So far i enabled the following:

1: Exhaust Valves Open ( Definitely make a different!)
2: Turn signals to flash 4 times instead of 3
3: G Force meter
4: Torque & power dials

Is there anything that is a must or worth having that i have missed off above?

Thanks

What is this device? It sounds magical

When I enabled the g-force meter on my17 S3, I dont get the residual red outline around the center. Did you have to do anything special to get that?

The outline doesn't work for 17s.

Hi guys i have a question. How can i look at air fuel ratio with obdeleven? My car is running dtuk chip its an audi a5 1.4tfsi i am just curious to check afr to see if car is running fine or not?

Just got my OBDeleven the other day and today carried out a few mods and it’s great bit of kit.

I have also used VCDS which is a very good peace of kit also but found for what I wanted OBDeleven ticked all the boxes.
