Should I have a moan or let it slide?

Car was in the dealers on 23rd April to have a wobbly seat assessed. Then again on 22nd May to have it repaired. It was in again yesterday for the electronic boot catch replacing as it failed. Just got it back today and my dash cam had been unplugged, the radio was blasting out a station I don’t listen to and my seat position had been completely moved. Now when I put my seat back it’s wobbly again like it was originally.

Am I overreacting by being p*ssed off?

This will be the 4th time since the end of April that I’ve been to the dealers. And when it’s almost a 2 hour round trip it’s not ideal.

Is there any point having a moan at the service manager?

I'd go to Branch Manager.

What would you say though? I don’t want to come across like a petty d*ck head.

That the issue needs to be resolved. That they have messed up with your dashcam. That you want your next and hopefully the last 2 hour trip to be worth it along with some sort of 'compensation'. Simples!

Well, they've obviously taken your car for a bit of a joy ride. Not sure why they would need to take it for a "road test" if they were replacing a faulty boot latch. I'd be asking for an explanation and expressing displeasure that the original fault with the seat was back - maybe suggesting that they can come and collect the car on a flat bed rather than you having to make the journey.

Some dealerships switch off dashcams citing a breach of the gpdr with creating images of personnel staff. But they should inform you of this, unplugging it then leaving it unplugged is just clumsy.

However I would certainly moan at the manager for not repairing the fault and the car returned in a standard not fitting for an audi dealership..

once you complain to the manager, maybe try another dealer?
