Guys I'm wondering how I change the fog light on my black edition . I know the light itself will be held in with 2 or 3 bolts but I need to know HOW to get the plastic surrounds off that you can seewhilst looking at the car head on...

Just pull hard.

I am guessing you have a fog grille covering the fog light if so do what the man 2 above mine says . If not best to show a pic

Where all glad to have helped . You get good craic on here :thumbs up::thumbs up:
Just a quick one, where did that info come from? Is there an online Haynes manual so to speak to I can look up other things in future? That website looked interesting...

its not a site. its elsawin, a workshop manual for vag cars used by the dealers.
you can buy it on ebay, or download it yourself but its massive. i think my download was 60gb or so. its also not straightforward to install, and the guides are not as laid out as say a haynes

OK then I'll leave it with you pros on here as I won't have that kind of download space! The pics show I release two clips with a driver but everyone on YouTube is literally giving them a hard or should I say firm pull... your opinion?

theres 2 or 4 clips which can be either forced to release by pulling, or released more carefully with a screwdriver. both ways seem to work, so your car your decision.

as to elsawin, you dont have to be a pro to use it. personally find user written guides on youtube or sites like this to be more useful anyway as some of the guides on elsawin read like they were written by a robot.
