Saving money on a new car?

Hey,
Hoping someone can help. A while back on here, someone posted their new spec car that they’d ordered new through a 3rd party and saved around 18%.
I’m looking to do the same thing in the next month or so.
Can anyone tell me who it’s likely to be?

Can you suggest anywhere that does? (Also, why don’t they?!)

There is a new model coming, although no specific details have been released yet.

You can't order it on the Audi web site either.

You can only buy current stock.
 
Ah ok, and by no details I expect no date of release yet either?

Doubt RS6 would be on these sites, but as new model on way, would imagine you may be able to negotiate decent discount on stock car, assuming there are any around.

RS3, 4, 5 and 6 were all on drive the deal. Only the 3, 4 and 5 are currently on their as you can;t order an rs6 and rs7 at the minute.

Car wow also had them. Coast2coastcars.co.uk didn't have them all.

So it’s probably as said above just because the new models coming... that’s cool,
Don’t see the point of getting the old model unless there’s stuff in the new I don’t like. I can wait a while.

Yes I would hang fire as they will appear in due course.

C7 RS6 order book closed months ago(Feb from what the dealer told me), the new RS6 will be some point in 2019, it won't be available on the release of the C8 Avant. Also as it's a new model don't expect much saving on the release.

Doubt you will get ANY savings on new model, so if that is your driver, you will need to wait a couple quarters at least post release, as dealers (from what I understand) aren't allowed to discount new models for awhile...this may be b*llocks, but generally you don't get much off new models.

I looked at new Q5 in 2017, but no deals, however in Mar 2018 got 13% off.
