Armrest Lid - Repair ?

Hi. Old thread I know.... I was going to also try Velcro and or magnets.

But the catch replacements in the eBay link seem good. See they a simple fix?

Hi There

Lids can be removed and replaced or repaired - if you are lucky.

Here is a link on how to remove the lid:

Hope it helps!

Audi armrest cover

I picked up this black armrest cover w/ metal pins for $19 USD on Amazon, because they had the dimensions annotated on the picture

my hinges have actually broken, is there a viable fix to this or alternate hinge diy fix?

Not for hinges sadly - it's a new lid job or keep it closed!

what are the options to keep it closed?

Is the broken hinge moulded on the rear armrest lid? If so, just replace the armrest lid assembly. If the base compartment female hinge receptacles are damaged, take a pix so we can see what your dealing with.

Thought this would help because I just followed the video and it was easy!
I was looking for a audi armrest cover replacement tutorial for my Audi S3 and I think this covers everything.
