Unfortuantely im up in the north east, Not fancying Audis labour rates TBH. going to have to look for someone with ODIS I presume?
 
Just had my cruise control coded. Still not working. Now has a code for cruise control mechanical fault.

I never thought I'd say this but I'm angry with my car.

@TimWills28 I love the black grill surround conversion. How would I do it? I saw from your image that you protected the areas around the surround but how did you avoid getting paint on the grill itself?

I was a bit raw tbh mate. My grill is already gloss black I didn’t mind the little overspray and it couldn’t honestly be seen when looked at from up close, unless you were honestly looking for it with finger touches

Okay sweet and how much paint did you buy? I'm thinking of getting two 500ml cans of black paint and one 500ml can of grey bodyshop primer. I'm also doing the de-badge mod that you did :)

Just bought the one can mate. I did it outdoors with about 4/5 layers of spray...

I didn’t use a primer and considering the stone chips i knew it would face I only had to touch it up after 10 months! De badge mod is nice .. slick and smooth .. try the dental floss method first mate as you could scratch your car if you’re heavy handed ..

Thanks for all your help, I went with two cans of the exact paint you used and a few dust sheets :) Also bought the stuff for the badge removal so I'll be quite busy this weekend!

Hi All,

Just to let you all know that you won't have to see my you've been framed style DIY videos on here anymore lol
I am collecting my new car on Friday and unfortunately it isn't an Audi...hence why I stopped additions and videos slowed down...
Its a 2017 mercedes a class a250 amg line and just fancied breaking away from audi for a bit and getting into a different cockpit!

I'll still check this wonderful, active forum from time to time and I still receive notifications when inboxed...
