S4 B9 donwshift over rev

I would have thought that it is possible under certain circumstances, like any car when driven in manual mode. It will have a rpm limiter but if a too lower gear is selected the rpm can momentarily over rev. I believe this has been reported on the A3 8V forum...
The s4 will not over rev. It will not select the lower gear until it is satisfied it will not do so even if your clicking away on the paddles in full manual mode.
Also if you floor it in gear it will not over rev and will change up gear in manual mode .
