Finally managed to fit my Thinkware F770.
Routed cables through the roof to back of car, one cable into tailgate for rear camera, one cable to rear power in boot. I first tried going down the A post but didn't like the fact that there is an air bag and it might hinder operation, and I couldn't get trim off.
As I had to get one cable to back so 2 didn't make any difference.
After I had fitted all I did notice that the DAB kept going in and out of signal, mostly out.
I had already fitted ferrite rings to the power so was not sure what to do.
I new that the interference was from leakage from a power cable but I had already covered that ?
Then I realised that the rear camera must have power so I put ferrite rings on cable at front and rear of rear camera. Sorted, tested last night and never lost signal once.

I have an issue with my rear cam and have tried ferrite clamps to no avail, I have them just after the fuse and also just behind the camera a few inches from the power USB, where have you positioned yours please?

Thanks, I have one next to the cam (A119) and a couple more near the source 12v, I may try another lead to see if a shielded one helps.

Hi Des, really simple and short route, it's routed under the rubber tailgate trim down the RHS and into the fuse box adjacent the fuel cap.

Piggy backed but it's home fully. I've ordered a shielded cable and will try that, it's DC so isn't a sine wave
