Black Rings and S3 Badge ?

Ok I've been toying with the idea of getting the black Audi rings front and rear and the black S3 rear badge. Car is Ibis white with black pack and privacy glass.
What do you all think ?
Or if you have done this, was it a difficult task ?
 
It'd look great I reckon, very easy job as well, all you need is a hair dryer and a credit card or dental floss
 
If I'm honest, it might look a bit tacky/boy racery, unless that is the style you are going for that is. The chrome as it is means it remains classy. Just my 2p.

I'm certainly not wanting a boy racer look! Was just a thought. I like the car as it is and don't really want to mess with it to much.

I have the Sepang with all the black styling package and black roof rails,pano-roof so l have thought about this,maybe do the front rings in high gloss black but not on the tailgate, you can only try, it's not like you can't change it back
 
Here's mine, granted it's an rs3 but gives you an idea. Ordered them and then was apprehensive about fitting once the car arrived but overall quite happy. Think it ties in will with the gloss black pack. I didn't bother with the front as I think the black rings on the front just makes it seem like they have fallen off!

Do you just guess where they go on the rear then @billyali86 ?

We're did you get them from and how much ?
 
Lol if I guessed, knowing me, they would probably end up on the front of the car

You put tape around where you remove the original badges from, so you know where they go

I got them from a company called raywell design, were £30 odd if I remember correctly, can be found online
 
Phew - thought I'd logged onto Clio.net then ! They were doing theirs dayglo yellow and orange tho to be fair.

Yeah I like the black ring and black pack combo.

Thought as much. Yeah I seen them on Instagram think there £25 at the moment. I'm still pondering over it to be honest.
 
I just spray painted the original chrome rings. Extreme caution is required when removing....it's very easy to snap the clips.
 
S3 rear no badge

I was never keen on the chrome rings , I put black on black edition but prefer it off , I really like the black s3 badge but think it will be lost on my car

As anyone done this with a Black Edition in Daytona Grey?

Just seen the New 2019 A1 Edition 1 with the black rings i'm not sure about the front but on the back i think it goes quite well.

Ive got the black rings on the front and have the black rings,black S3 badge and carbon mirror fit to do on Friday. Pics to follow. My car is viper green with a Rieger gloss black diffuser just tying it all together. @MikeParkin i think the black on white will look great. If you decided on pink or yellow then that would be a whole different ball game.

Cheers @Leevr once the red in the S3 badge fades I'll be keeping it off I think.
 
I'm sorry and personal opinion of course, but I have to say if you were trying to not to have the boy racer look you've failed quite badly. :)

@Kenny_GTI , better watch out mate, you'll have the haters along soon. Nice looking car finished off with those badges. Do you not fancy changing the front badge. Suppose might get lost black on black.

Still can't decide on whether to go with a black badge on the front or not, I like the chrome but the black looks very nice as well!

I been thinking of changing my rear Audi rings badge and the S3 badge to black. For the front im not so sure about changing them to black because from a distance look like the badge as fallen off the grill. But each to there own i guess.

I've just left it off the front and going black rings and badge on the rear
 
Audi now sells the front and rear rings in black - OEM baby! Thank me later.
