Random cut of engine, getting more and more common, today it wouldn' t start. Turns over but nothing else.
Scanned with vcds and the following errors appeared
01374 , 01370 , 01389 , 00956 , 01134
All regarding central locking. Anyone any idea? On nightshift any help would be very appreciated

Almost sounds like the immobiliser is kicking in?! I’ve just read all those codes your getting. Doesn’t seem right, surpassed maximum 2 keys, alarm triggered when ignition on, etc. If it’s not starting and it’s alarm related.... can only be the immobiliser preventing it.

Sounds like reading coil for me. Wire, what goes to reading coil to dashboard. Maybe you have a different name, but if i transleted, then it said reading coil. Check that.

I'm not sure what a reading coil is method, but then again, I haven't a Scooby about this. Anyone?

Ignition coil pack? Method, you reckon a bad coil pack could cause these codes?

No, its not the coil pack. There is a wire what is maybe broken and cant read your car key correctly. Try to change that.

He's talking about the "immoboliser ring" not ignition coil

It's the "too many keys" about having interfering immobolisor signals from having extra car keys on the bunch?

nope - maybe buy an ECU with IMMO defeat? they are about £40 on ebay. edit actually more expensive that's the service cost to update your own ECU to be IMMO off they are more like £100 quid

I assume you dont have a bunch of keys altogether? I have an ECU I bought with a stage 2 map and IMMO defeated which was £150 but they sold others without the "pretend map" for less. I would personally buy a second ECU rather than paying for a service as the ECU requires removing to switch off IMMO in any case then at least you know you are not left with no ECU if it goes wrong and could at least sell on your old ECU etc

Wee update before work. Charged battery, changed batteries in key fob. Scanned then cleared codes with vcds. No more codes, but car still won' s start, turn over fine, but fuel pump not priming (can't Hear it)

Fuel pump relay? Fuel pump?

The immobolisor interference looks like -
1. Turns over
2. Fires and starts for 1 second
3. Cuts out

Fuel / spark / air / timing. Like you said already ' is there any fuel '?

Take the hose off the fuel rail (into a container) and crank it see if anything comes out, probably best you get some one to turn key while you stay with the hose
