So I recently changed my diverter valve (old one was completely torn) and now I have A GFB DV+ installed there is still a really loud turbo sound. I’m not sure what I can do.

It’s an A3 2.0T 2005

I can send a video if you message me :)

Thanks :)

You may need to change the PCV valve?

Sounds like pressurised air is escaping, but it's not ideal sound quality to really tell. My guess would be to get a smoke test done to see if there are any boost leaks.

I bought a new PCV valve, if that doesn’t work will a smoke test be worth it ?

Yes, smoke test covers other areas where boost leaks can occur.
I put a new pcv valve; but now I can hear hissing at drivers side wheel, and I checked the DV valve and it’s tight. The noise is still loud

Sounds like you have a boost leak... Get it smoke tested and find out for sure... Takes 10 minutes to do.

You can knock your iwn tester up with some pvc pipe fittings and a tyre valve. Never done it but seen the diy. Google diy boost leak tester if there is nobody local to do it

Yeah, VRT is where I'd take it. They know these cars well and I get all of the work done on it that I can't do myself.
