I am a pain in the back side when it comes to making a final decision (car only). Have looked around and it will likely be between ECS and StopTech. RS brake kit was getting a bit expensive with carriers and other bits was costing a tad more.

Both the ones you've got in mind are from reputable suppliers, so you won't go wrong. Have you considered Q5 Brembo 4 pot calipers instead of RS, XP has these on his S4, think they're around £650 new for the pair.

RS5 Interior door handles fitted today
Colour matched Auto Folding Mirrors fitted, will code them in when I get my VCDS back from my mate.
Much prefer the mirrors matched with the colour of the car.

Nice JG - RS handles are a nice touch. I toyed with getting my wing mirrors painted gloss black but the chrome being one of the few things that sets the S apart decided to stick. The white and black looks nice though!

Always wanted a set of RS5 handles, so thought I'd get them while I was taking the door cards off to do the mirrors.
Gloss black did cross my mind, but like the way they match the car colour, not a fan of the chrome, but as you say, sets the S range apart from the other's.

looks good! you will have to let us know how you get on with the new disks after a few months, i had drilled and grooved on my wimpy a4 and it ate through pads, literally tore chunks out and caused allot of vibration, i hated them and was back to pagid in less than 3 months lol but I seem to be the black sheep as plenty others swear by them, an can't deny they look beaut.

So far disc's & pads are fine, feel as if they have a bit better stopping power, time will tell though.
Splitter is Maxton Design - Facelift S-Line one, fits perfectly.

Yes, it's a good price for what it is, well made, direct fit and appears durable.

JG, the discs you have - make a real noticeable difference? I upgraded my pads in the summer to red stuff and they're better than AUDI stuff however, was following a Porsche Turbo recently and my brakes faded alarmingly quickly... wondering if the airflow around the discs you have a) makes a big difference and b) that difference is worth the cost?
I do find a difference in the stopping power with these discs, I too have red stuff pads and find they compliment each other nicely, especially in the wet for some reason. I haven't suffered any fade in the brakes, and I let to brake as late as possible, must be my earlier years on a bike that has made this a habit.........
As for price, really thats up to the person buying them, IMO it's worth the extra, also look better.
I'm changing mine though around March for RS ones, nothing to do with the performance of the existing brakes, just want more stopping power prior to remap.
