Thought it was about time I started a build thread. Had the car for 4 weeks now, covered 2600 miles in it and I am loving it. It is lovely to drive and pretty economical, I am getting mid 20's on a run and 20mpg running around which I can live with.

Picked the car up from the dealers, it was delivered with the wrong colour interior. I had ordered the light grey but it came with black. I really wanted the light interior, but I was not prepared to wait for another car to be found so a little extra discount was sought.

I collected the car unprepped as I had already got it booked in for a new car detail and for ceramic coating. So 24 hours after collecting the car I lost it whilst it was readied for me.

Got a few plans for the car. Its booked into MTC on friday to be remapped, I cannot wait and have high expectations.

I have plans for some new wheels and possibly an exhaust although I do quite like the stealthy quietness of the car so I might not.

I've fitted an intake from Roc-Euro although the jury is out on it at the moment, it is quite loud sucking, whooshing and popping. I have also just received a set of front and rear EBC red's that I will get fitted tomorrow.

Oh and have properly broken the screen so need to get a new one sorted...

Anyway some pics of the car so far.

Collection day.

Very nice!

I love my RocEs. Loud with pops and bangs, just how l like it.

EBC redstuff are great, and zero dust!

I went APR Stage 1, total transformation.

Are you going to put PPF on the front? :racer:

Yes, I wanted the gearbox map as well but MRC have told me they cannot do my car :-(

I am contemplating the exhaust and perhaps going to stage 2, not sure yet... But power is addictive so never say never

Can't wait for the map Friday, its a 2 hours drive back down south and then I have a christening over the weekend down in Exeter so a decent run saturday from southampton.

Jesus getting rid of the dust is a top priority. Driving me insane with the amount of dust that comes off the standard pads.

Ah, I’m in Andover (when in the UK), so not far away.

Regal Autosport are my go to guys for most things. They are Southampton based http://www.regalautosport.com/

If you think the dust is bad on the OEM pads, wait till the squealing starts. Nightmare. I moved to the Redstuffs about 4K in.

I know regal they stage 2'd my Golf R. Fancied going for a custom map this time. Although APR were my second choice.

I lasted 1500 miles before ordering the Red's :) Do the stock pads squeal then?

Andover, lovely part of the world, I am the other side of souhampton out towards whickam vineyards

Took my S6 up to MRC for a stage 1 remap.

Started off at 445ps and 601Nm and ended up 555ps and 795Nm

Needless to say it drives very much differently. Very happy with the car, the mid range is mental. Fuel consumption went out the window on a drive to exeter at the weekend for a christening...

Booked in for a very very light front window tint on friday. And next will be to decide what to do with the noise, res delete or complete exhaust....

Mate if you're thinking of a catback just go downpipes instead. It will cost about the same but sounds amazing and you'll pick up more power from it.

I thought you was living is Australia for a minute there mate.

It is driving me mad. They appear the right way up on my mac, if I load them directly into my browser but on here the orientation is wrong even when I flick them around in phot viewer...

When I get 5 minutes I will sort them out!!!

Had a very light tint done to the front windows. Next mod is res delete which is booked in for next monday.

Been a bit quiet on here but have been making small changes.

Took the car to Le Mans over the weekend, drove down thurs and came back monday. My group included a 140i, maccy 540, aston vanquish, Alfa 4c and a noble. Needless to say the S6 handled it self extremely well in this company and surprised a fair few people. Proved itself to be a great long distance tourer.

I had the res delete done last monday and replaced with an x pipe. Has made a little difference but still not quite as loud as I had hoped.

The carbon mirror caps have arrived, they actually arrived over a week ago but work and then my trip meant I didn't have a change to collect them from the post office. Mrs Blonde went and collected them for me thurs so when I came home monday night they were waiting for me. Not had a chance to fit them yet but they look fantastic and the quality is great especially for the money. I will post up some pics friday.

Now I just need to decide what alloys to get, I think I have decided and will be going for a BBS rim 21x9,5" with a 33mm offset.

After a weeks delay I have finally got my car back from the body shop. The repair is spot on, only 1 issue with the rear bumper being about 1mm out of alignment on one side but I will sort that myself and is probably me being overly fussy.

But it does mean I have finally been able to fit my new rim.

BBS CHR-II's 21x9.5" with a 33mm offset. Runing pzero's 265/30/21

I wasn't 100% sure on the titanium colour but now they are on the car I think they are perfect and love them.
