as above guys the old turbos starting to sound like a siren, powers droppin off n moneys tight. A decent cores much cheaper than an exchange unit but is it doable, any special tools needed etc. Any help would be great i just want the old wagon pullin well again

Dead easy job on our wastegate turbos as there is nothing to set up unlike VNT turbos and only basic tools required! You may well be able to do it without completely removing the turbo too.

No plans to go down the hybrid route then bud?
Moneys too tight atm bud, just gona hav to keep it runnin nice for a while yet. A k03 hybrid runnin around 350 for a daily was my plan. Bad time for it to let go!

I know the feeling, saving my pennies for a walnut blasting decoke next month. My turbo is quite tired too, don’t think it’ll be long before it needs some attention.
