Bigger front brakes

got a 2.0 tdi avant and wouldn’t mind fitting bigger brakes up front and wondering what’s a simple replacement set I could source rather then go all out brembo money
 
S4 / S5 calipers and 345mm discs

Simple swap out!

Like @ion2211 said. Go for some s4/s5 calipers and 345mm disks.

I have recently purchased that setup and will be fitting them at the weekend.

Pretty straight forward job expect I had to drill out the location screw on the old discs as whoever had the car before me totally stripped the heads.

I'd be filling in the gaps between the slabs - stop these taps from disappearing! Why no disc fixing screw fitted, did you drill out the old screw or get hold of it with a pair of pliers after drilling the head off - then cleaned up the threads, there used to be SS screws for sale on ebay, I used them on 2 cars, which makes me think that I should order some new ones in for when I change to Summer wheels/tyres - I've never ever found these screws hard to remove so who ever messed up the heads on your's must have been a donkey.

Another Edit:- other useless/insulting/helpful comments - maybe dress the end of that feather splitter up a bit before some bits get into your eye(s) - I do know someone that has only one working eye from that sort of problem.

Yeah the location screws were an absolute nightmare and if i could meet the person who did this last time they'd get a slap. After drilling the heads off I tried to remove the rest of it from the hub but it just wouldn't budge and didnt want to start drilling into the remainders of screw in the hub. In the end had to leave it in but did ensure the disc sat flush with the hub.
 
Gareth that looks amazing! Am I correct in saying they are the Audi cermqkc calipers? What car did they come off, especially with the 400mm discs?

No it definitely wasn’t cheap but when you see them in person there massive looking even with my 20” rotors.
