2.0 Tfsi oil usage issues

What year of manufacture does the oil usage issues effect? I'm picking up a 2013 2.0tfsi quattro s-tonic black edition this week, will this have it? If yes is it covered under a recall? Thanks for any help
 
Cheers for reply. I have read some of this but was wondering if any later than 2011 models have been affected or was it sorted after 2011?
 
My 2013 2.0 tfsi has used about 750ml in 5000 miles. I don't think that's enough to be problem.

I think I can live with that. I only do about 6k miles a year, with having a company van. I'll just have to carry a 1ltr bottle in the boot in case. Cheers for reply
 
My 2013 (reg Jan 2014) uses no oil at all not needed to top up in 8months of ownership. It's a gen 3 ea888 2.0 tfsi. Rated at 225 bhp.
