Has anyone on here tuned a 1.9 bke 115 if so what results and what was used

From what I recall it's the injectors that are different between the 130's and 115's... again this could be a load of rubbish as I'm just talking from memory but from what I remember the injectors aren't all that reliable on bke's either, really depends how far you want to go with tuning as I can suggest a few expensive options... on a budget I'd say get the injectors off a pd130, map and hope the clutch lasts. With a big budget I'd say get a Darkside turbo kit, fraid nozzles, turbo back exhaust, race camshaft, EGR delete, front mount intercooler, Sachs Race Engineering clutch and a few other choice upgrades which I probably have haha.

DIESEL JAKES UR MAN

Haha got in there before me :playful:

To be fair my knowledge is nothing on some of the members here and tdi club but I try to be a 1.9tdi know it all as mine's never fast enough.

I have changed the injectors for 130 ones and have a hybrid turbo with billet arl compressor wheel, decat k&n new billet cam kit I'm just bolting it all together and wondering what results to expect after mapping

I haven't yet deleted egr but will before map as I know I will get a light up

Let me know if I'm overlooking anything jake

Really depends on the turbo in that case, if it's an oiled pannel filter I would recommend swapping it out as our MAF's don't like them and won't tend to play ball for long. I presume yours is an 04 as those are the only ones with the later BKE's in which case you will get a light on the dash when deleting the EGR, you can either have a small hole in it or map it out to get rid of the light, suppose if it's being mapped you may as well go with the latter.

Edit: Wait just realized you already mentioned you know about the light. Only thing I would suggest is a bigger intercooler. Wouldn't like to say in terms of bhp as hybrid's vary, please post results when you do get it mapped though as I'm very interested, be interesting to see how it compares to mine.

Is yours bke too

And yeah it's 54 one of the last ones with lots of toys

Mines AWX PD130 with a front mount, BV43 turbo, EGR delete, turbo back exhaust, Sachs SRE clutch and probably more I've forgot.

Should be comparable to yours, just depends on the turbo really, where was it from? Did the seller quote max bhp figures and spool compared to stock?

Said it was good for 220 but it's my daily so not looking to go there plus that would be more like a front mount ect.
What's yours running as my pal had similar set up making 210

Where did you get it from? ARL turbo's are alright but I wouldn't of expected the turbo's to make 220 (happy to be corrected though) as the car's with them in generally map to about 200, obviously billet wheels and porting help a bit (however surely not that much) but in terms of a daily hybrid's have always been hit or miss when it comes to reliability but again depends where it's from...

Mine made 182bhp on pessimistic dyno dynamics rollers but it's getting mapped again soon, hoping for something beginning with a 2, torque is off thecharts, can't remember what but it's more than a Golf R.

I don't expect it to be anywhere near that that's plus I'm after reliability so not going to push it

What I will say is it's probably best to budget for a clutch after mapping if you aren't limiting the torque (and maybe I'm biased but I say don't limit anything) and when I say clutch you'll want Sachs SRE or something similar (presuming it's 5 speed), if it makes more torque and bhp than mine it might be worth swapping to a 6 speed box instead as they take more abuse (and chuck in a decent clutch with that... maybe even LSD if your feeling rich... but then the gearbox upgrade will cost more than my b6 did when I bought it 8 years ago haha).

Think it's going to be mild compared to yours, had a clutch and flywheel not long ago ill see how it holds up
