Should be a life ban, never mind 18 months. Stating that he was the "unlucky one who got caught" suggests this is common practice. If it is then life bans would certainly stop it.

I see he admitted to dangerous driving? Surely gross negligence would be more like it as he wasn't even driving! Plus in the middle lane on a motorway doing 40mph? Just wow.

Unlucky to get caught? Really?? That is just arrogance. He will probably continue to drive even though banned and then say the same damned thing...

Too many morons on the roads.
