Extreme Parking

I think i’d Tend to agree. If i cant find a space which isn’t surrounded, i try to park beside the nicest car I can see.

If i do park where there is no one beside me, i often worry about the possible clown who is going to be bashing their door against mine...

So maybe he is also a car guy and thinks you’re safe.
yup, avoiding people carriers, vans or 4X4's especially with child seats in the back lol

I feel the kind of people that park next to us when we are that out of the way are the same ones that awkwardly stand next to you at a urinal when they're all empty....

I always look for expensive cars, or park like you lot :) and have been known to also park elsewhere and then get a taxi for the last leg :yahoo:Have also done the streetview to check out where I'm going first haha. Glad I'm not the only nutter

I think you might be doing the other bloke an injustice. My guess would be that he parked there because he thought that you would be very unlikely to open your door into him.

And on that basis alone, he'd be very unlikely to open his door into you.

I know it's anathema to some people on here, but just because he drives a Nissan it doesn't mean he doesn't care about his car too.

Look on the bright side. He's protecting your exposed flank from a beaten-up P-reg Galaxy full of child seats and chocolate with three of its hubcaps missing.

I think I'd be grateful.

.
Nothing to do with what he drives. There is no justification whatsoever to parking right next to someone when there are that many other empty spaces. What if he has a passenger who doesn’t give a stuff? You can try to explain it away but it is inexcusable.

I'm not quite sure what it is about my suggestion that's got you so riled up. You getting out of the wrong side of the bed isn't my fault, old fruit, though it would appear that it is.

I don't need to explain anything away. It's just an opinion, that's all.

Have a better one.

Wonderful response to a different opinion.

Work car park is usually rammed but managed to get one of the larger spaces at one corner of the car park near the main building.

Our work carpark is a warzone with twice as many cars as there are spaces. Thank god I'm one of the lucky few with my own space, which has no one either side of it!

I think you might be doing the other bloke an injustice. My guess would be that he parked there because he thought that you would be very unlikely to open your door into him.

This, especially when the car is a decent one. He figures you're careful and that's why you parked there so he'll be safe next to you.

Now that's. a different matter altogether.

I'd round up half a dozen of my beefiest chums and heave it over the parapet.

.

I’d call that fair play in a deserted car park.

It will be a write-off soon anyway having people parking next to you every day!
Buy a scrap car and just park it in the space next to you and leave it :)
Or something like this:

Someone rocked up to my office today in this Ferrari. The car park is probably 25% utilised so you could park by yourself and guaranteed nobody would be next to you. Driver thought just to park in a 'busy' area in the middle of 2 spaces ;) not like I blame him...

Got a hattrick today :)

Cheshire Oak, parked up at 10.15 out of the way, the main car parks were already busy!

Came back just under an hour later and this carpark was also busy, luckily I found an S3 had parked next to me leaving a space :)

Then shot off to the Greyhound Park in Chester:

Then back to Cheshire Oaks this afternoon to change a shirt I'd bought...picked up a S instead of XL!!!
Not many people know about this carpark, as it looks like it's a wagon only entrance, it's behind the stores!!! ;)

This is becoming addictive, everywhere I go now scanning for the best parking spots.

Everyone headed for the underground parking at IKEA. No chance!

So of to the overflow parking for me.

You should have parked in row A4

But for me it would have been A1 that bit further away, can’t take your chances especially in an Ikea car park!

Got to be a **** take, surely!
It was whilst I was at the gym.
The owner had left by the time I had. When I looked out the window I couldn't believe my eyes.

I was quite impressed with that "green hose pipe" to be honest, it felt ****** strong!

And at least there is some protection unlike most other roads! I expect you to get a pic from Hardknott now though! Just expect a bit of wheel spin in parts if its wet haha.

just had a play with the camera.....just now learnt that canon have an app where you can control the camera via your phone......set the camera and tripod up where you want the car to be, drive said car into said frame, sink down into your seat and snap away....live view and full access to all manual settings.

Only used it once or twice but worked fairly well once setup. Although annoying if want to change composition, focal length etc!

Fortunately my best mate is happy to be dragged around for hours and assist while I take photos of .... Whatever ... Another pair of hands is always useful!
