Evening all.

Daft question but its eating away at me.

I have a 2.0 tdi with ac,it's a 63 plate registered Jan 2014,

Should I have 2 cooling fans under the hood as I only have one ?? All cars I've owned with ac have had 2?? See daft question lol

I can deffo only see one although space is tight I'd have though you'd be able to see the other if it is there.

Anyone with a 2.0 tdi able to have a look and confirm if they have 1 or 2??

Thanks in advance

I think it’s pretty unlikely that you should have two if you in fact have only one.

Thanks for your input. When I look on euro car parts it comes up with one radiator and it has 2 fans. Just after someone with same car as me to check for me.

Just looked at the other half’s 2013 2.0 tdi. Definitely only one fan, but two rads. Sounds like the fan ramps up when the air con compressor kicks in.

Thanks for confirming that buddy. Once I turn my ac on the fan does turn on, so I assume the ac is working otherwise it wouldn't turn on. Just doesn't seem as cold although the temp gauge I got from halfrauds today is showing around 46 degree f, can deffo tell the difference between no ac and ac, fan runs at a slow constant speed doesn't run fast or anything. Don't know if it's suppose too or not.

Thanks

From experience it should blow out around 6 Celsius, which is about 43 Fahrenheit. So looks like yours is working ok.
