Got into the car this morning only to find i had a flat tyre. By luck there wad an AA guy around and he changed it to my spare for me there and then. But i now have the job of finding a cheap tyre to replace it with.

All the tyres were Bridgestone tyres. Do i really need to put a bridgestone on there? What would u guys recommend?

And anyone any ideas of the best place to go get it

Thanks in advance

Kwik fit l found to be the cheapest especially the one Hamilton

Kwik Fit online prices are cheaper, buy it online then go and have it fitted.

Costco are also cheap and they have the correct tyre sizes in stock for sure but you need to be a member

I thought so too, worth waiting till friday for. Will only be going to work and back with the car anyway. Should have been £90 odds but i always search for discount codes online lol

Can you see where the nail/screw is, you may be able to get the tyre repaired! I had two punctures on the S3 and both were repaired.

It wasnt a nail it was like a stanley blade or something so it had slashed it a bit unfortunately

Wouldnt trust Kwik fit to fit a tyre to a steel wheel never mind a 19" diamond cut alloy without damaging them !

Lol fare enough. Not going to kwik fit. Although i did have an accident with my alloy, after the AA guy took it off my mum moved it and dropped it face down and scratched it after a yr and a half of me being really carefull with it she has it for 2 seconds

Not sure I'd trust them.

I use Black Circles and pick a fitter I trust.

You can either order through the web site or just phone the fitter and see if they have the exact tyre in stock and are willing to match the price.

My only experience with National (not in Glasgow) is that after 3 attempts they still failed to balance the wheel. I went elsewhere to get it done correctly.

They fitted 4 tyres for my S3 last year

You get decent places that take care though
The local quikfit here damaged all 4 of my brand new 17" momo wheels back in the day :puke:

I always take the tyre fitter a wee tour of my wheels and politely say..... now don't damage any wheels eh... .! Your always best avoid tyre fitting places when busy ie the weekend

Just out of interest - how much will you have to pay to get them fitted and balanced?
I got two new tyres from our local independant place just this week. £100 each fitted. Pirelli.

I have used RD Tyre service for tyres, all be it not for the Audi yet. You can buy online from Pneus, get them delivered direct and they fit for £12 a corner. Never had a wheel marked. Had difficulty finding a place that would fit tyres that I bought online.
