no your wrong..the s4 dial can be coded..somone on drive2.ru hawe made it..on s5 100% and on q7 100% on virtual cockpit..but there the say it can be only coded when the vc has not more as 100 km on clock..you hawe to go to long coding-car devitation-there you hawe different options to code..i gonna new purchase a used vc and replaced it with my normal monochrome and gonna try it to code with obd eleven...

Yes they used a transplanted vc, so which car was that from? I have heard about the 100km hack but never seen any evidence to support it and those who can code the a4 also state it cannot be done. DJAlix for example has stated as much unless I am wrong..
