Immobiliser removal?

hey guys, got an intermittent fault with my immobiliser, sometimes the key flashes on the dash and it will stall upon start up? Is there anyway to remove it as I have a feeling it’s gonna be a pain to fix? It’s a 2001-2002 Audi TT roadster bam engine.

you can buy IMMO deleted ECUs off eBay I bought one with a map on for £150 - I just overwrote the map (after I expect it broke my car)

I did see some ODB devices which reckon it can be done on amazon, but I thought you needed to open the ECU and connect to pins or something like that.

Yeah I’ve spoke to a chap who said if I send my ecu he will do it for me? But I was told it had something to do with the dash also? Shall I just bite the bullet and buy and ecu and out my map onto it? Cheers buddy
 
immo defeat on ecu won't need anything done with the dash... Bill does immo defeats

There are various threads on nefmoto covering immo defeats but unless you feel confident I wouldn't do it to your own ECU... buy another and clone it first

As above, check out Nefmoto if you are confident to do it yourself, or something like eBay item number: 132549984672, if you want to buy one already done.

Just buy vag commander and disable it.
