What Detailing / Car Care Products Have You Bought / Ordered Today?

I’ve a feeling the M4 CP will be an idea that will raise its head again soon. I know that’s the way my head tends to work anyway! I’ve been thinking over the last number of hours if an RS3 is the right car to replace our S1 in the near future. ****** money boxes this car enthusiast business!

I wouldn't get the current RS3 mate for several reasons

1 it's a bit long in the tooth in interior design

2.New A3/S3 due next year yeah l know we're just into 2018 but still by the second half of this year rumour control/motoring press will have all ears to the ground concerning its image and spec.
3.The current car ain't worth the money unless you get 10% discount even then the 8v is looking dated and yeah all my reasons are it's Age... . I am really looking forward to the forthcoming banter and debate on here concerning it . . ..

To a certain degree I totally agree with your comments. I also love the current M3 CP, but again a new 3 series is being released next year.

Got some prices back from Carwow on the RS3, and the best was 5% discount which was to be expected but I had hoped for more.

Be interested to see the deal @Bristle Hound found for the M4 CP

A wobble..............lol in isolation they look ok but they aint any head turner not for £50k plus,l have driven both variants, they aint worth the money and its the cost of the car that ruins it......like l said RS3's are peeps with low self esteem....lol

They are expensive I agree for 50k I would rather have a rs6 to be honest or gtr and s3 for like 55k combined, I never driven one so can’t comment on how good or bad they are to drive, so what would be the recommendation from you ?

CarPro Reload bought from Slims. First order from there, not my normal supplier but they were the only place that had the 500ml Reload in stock. Everywhere else sold out, even CarPro websites. Love this stuff. So easy to use and lasts well.

They're ceramic coatings don't get rave reviews l think they're products in general are somewhat middle of the roads as far as quality and durability go but l maybe wrong

@jassyo06 I’ve used the Reload since I bought the A3, so three years or so. I have the Cquartz U.K. in the house but back not good enough just now to get it applied so Reload it is. Easy to use, spray on wipe off. Very hydrophobic.

So reload is just like C2v3 from Gtechniq

It’s meant to be a top up for the Cquartz UK but can be used on its own.

Carpro Reset Shampoo, as advised to use with my new Finest Reserve Ceramic coat.

****** opened the box and the bottle cap was damaged, reset everywhere, smells quite nice though, contacted the seller, who advised me to keep the remainder in the bottle and he would send me another bottle out, half a bottle left, result. :thumbs up:

Just need to wait until Sunday to use the reset, as advised by detailer.

How did you find the reset Matt, detailer told me to use two caps in a full bucket, seems a bit mean?

JG
yeah i think I used about that, i put a squirty bottle cap on mine though so just did 2 good squirts of the stuff, dont think its the best stuff for foaming but still works decent.

I'll give the two caps a go, but if it requires more to get it foamy, I'll add another couple of caps.

Let me know how the Gyeon Bathe, and how it compares to the Reset.

Bathe essence foams up well if you wanted a foamy shampoo

No personal details this time . House painting finished last night and will wash the carpets later today. That's house done.

Car interior was detailed yesterday and the outside starts tomorrow. Bought my wife an A3 8V (approved used) and she doesn't know anything about it a it will be a surprise. Wanted to detail and give her the keys of a shiny car. It will be my first time trying Scholl S20 so fingers crossed. Oh, I am sure she won't even realise that I have detailed the car.

I have both. For Reset I use 35ml in a 20l bucket. Works fine for me. Bathe is about the same. In terms of the difference, there's not much in it. Reset is the best option for restoring the beading of the coating if it starts to drop off a bit. Both are good though!

It's an awesome product mate. I really like BH range - worth every penny. I spoke to Nick before buying the products as I wanted to get it detailed before she is back. Nick wasn't available so, I thought I'll give it a go myself and if it didn't work or I didn't like it we'll go back to Nick
