Don’t think it’s too bad, think you need to heat and twist the top as the button is at the front and not the side

There's a couple of RS5 ones on ebay £100 - £105, don't know if they defo fit S5 though.

Yes mate nothing too sad ! Head - twist , taking me about 15 mins ! Take your time and do not melt the plastic ! Take your time - a bit heat a bit twist !
Once you done - place the knob and then press the button !
DO NOT PRESS THE GEAR knob button before !
Really easy according to me !
I can say that i damage this knob that is why i order another one - used but oem !
This is AliExpress Version but look so nice ! Amazing quality but i have no time to wait another 40 days !

Moving from a Skoda Octavia VRS, I have owned this A4 for around two weeks. Happy with the car. Got an absolute bargain from the dealer. So far I have tinted all the windows, refurbished and recoloured the alloys, plastidipped the front grill, changed the rear and front badges to black.

Post snow & ice wash as it's all gone here up on Epsom Downs. Also took the silver bumper trim off of the car a couple of weeks back (eventually found a way!) and had spent £2 on carbon look vinyl, out with the hairdryer to get it bang on. Plus a bit more honeycomb, looks ok.

Put front wheels on ramps, undo bottom tray and slide back towards the rear of the car, don't have to remove completely. Then there are 3 or 4 T25 (i think) screws holding the trim in place. Tricky to get to but not impossible.

After having it serviced last weekend I decided to get the windows tinted as well as the rear lights. Absolutly made up with the results.

Anyone in the Liverpool area looking for this service then Ian at Tintwizard is the man.

I'm in two minds now if I should get the black rings and A4 badge now
