I'm looking at getting a spare set of alloys for winter tyres. I know some who is getting rid of his from a Audi a4 2010 3.0 V6 Quattro. The tyre size is 225/50 r17. I googled the image of same looking alloy and the part number seem to be 8K0601025B.
Here is a picture of same alloy

I think these wheels should fit theB9 but wanted to double check.

Put on my winter shoes today. They don't look that great but they were very cheap and local so can't really ask for more than that. Wheels are 17" from a b8 I believe? Tyres are vredestein wintrac extreme. Front caliper clearance is CLOSE! If the wheel weights were next to the caliper I'd say you'd struggle to squeeze a £1 coin in the gap.

There were some who were asking whether the 3.0 272 can fit 17" wheels and clear the supposedly bigger calipers. This type of wheel can anyways but I can't say if it will be the same with other Audi wheels unless they all have the same offsets.

Please excuse the dirty car. :p Bring on the snow!

They're what I got on. I have a 3.0tdi 272. Caliper clearance is CLOSE mind you!

Took a few snaps with the wheel weights next to the calipers. Clearance is about the thickness of a credit card! Should I be worried about thermal expansion? Anybody else with a 3.0 272 running 17" oem wheels with tight clearance like this?

There's these photos aswell. Depending on what style of wheel weights are used you may struggle.

Then again I can't remember whether you have a 1.4? That should have smaller calipers in which case you should be totally fine.

I have the 2.0 TFSI. Will they be as tight on mine? I would have thought that the wheel will flex while driving and it will rub on the callipers. Look at these pictures I'm a bit sceptical about getting them now.

What about this wheel? Will this be better? I'm not sure if it looks any better than the first one.

I’m no wheel wizard but you need to know the offset and diameter to be able to determine whether they will fit (clear the calliper) or not. Just posting up a pic face on and asking if they’ll fit... how can we possibly know if we don’t know the wheel specs? For all we know that rim could be 14” or 22” and it’s anybody’s guess with regards to the offset.

If you just want an opinion on the aesthetics, then this is fine. Personally If I had to choose between the two I’d go for the second one. It’ll probably be easier to clean too.

Sorry, forgot to add the details. I think it also comes from the B9.
Size 17inch,
rim width 7j,
offset 46,
stud diameter 112.
The part number is 8k00736378z8.

I'm hoping that someone has wheels like that and can give personal feedback.

I think if they fit my 3.0 then you should be fine. Is it possible you could test fit first? That's what I did. And no the wheels won't flex at all, the tyres and suspension absorb the bumps.
Looking at my photos, as close as the wheel weights are to the outer edge of the caliper, not one of them has made contact or come off so all is good for me. And when the weather turns nicer I'll be putting the summer wheels back on so I'm not too worried about anything expanding in the mean time.

I don't particularly like the look of my wheels to be honest but since they're just for winter use it doesn't bother me too much. I prefer the look of the second one myself. But again if you can test fit one wheel on the front where the larger caliper is would be best.

I have a set on with winters 272 TDI sline close but ok .

Sorry been away ,the first ones with nokian tyres maybe a 5 or 10 mm spacer would be give better clearance on the front but nothing catches without .
